Welcome to the Genet PTO!
The Genet PTO is a non-profit organization established to provide support for the educational, social and recreational needs of the students attending the Genet Elementary School and related organizations associated with the East Greenbush Central School District. The organization shall participate in activities consistent with the mission of the East Greenbush Central School District in making available to all students a safe learning environment that emphasizes academic excellence, supportive staff and partnership with families and the community. The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:
A. To encourage cooperation and open communication among parents, administrators, teachers, staff and the general public;
B. To promote the welfare of children and youth in their home, school and community;
C. To organize educational, social and recreational activities that benefit the students of the Genet Elementary School;
D. To raise funds to support the activities for students, teachers and staff at Genet Elementary School; and
E. To provide volunteer support during activities for the students of the Genet Elementary School.
